Currently our office remains open and operating to normal opening times. This will be reviewed as government recommendations change and this page will be updated accordingly.
The health and safety of our clients, visitors and staff is of the utmost importance to us. Please be assured that we are taking all possible precautions to protect our clients and staff and we are following government guidelines and the guidance issued by Public Health England.
We have communicated detailed guidance to our staff regarding the virus and good hygiene and all staff have undertaken specific training in this regard.
Most of our work can be typically conducted via phone or email and we will continue to do work in this way. If you need to speak with your solicitor or a member of staff we ask that contact is where possible made via telephone calls and emails.
We are carrying out face to face meetings where these are essential. Where a meeting is required we will contact you to make arrangements for this to take place. You may be asked to use an alternative method of meeting such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime or Skype if appropriate.
We ask at this time that you limit your visits to our offices. Documentation can be left for us in our mailbox which is checked on a regular basis. Where you do have to attend our offices please note that, despite the current government guidance, we are asking all visitors to wear a mask inside the building to protect both visitors and our staff.
We ask that you please observe the Public Health England guidance concerning:
Thorough and frequent handwashing
Coughing and sneezing into tissues and disposing of them away from our premises
Avoiding touching your face
We have advised our staff to limit all physical contact with clients and colleagues so please do not be offended if your solicitor or a member of staff does not shake hands with you. This is to protect you, our staff and other visitors to our offices, some of whom may be more vulnerable if exposed to Coronavirus.
We are asking all clients, visitors and staff to observe the Public Health England guidance concerning possible self-isolation if you display symptoms of Coronavirus, have been in close contact with others displaying symptoms or have recently returned to the UK from an affected area.
We have systems in place to allow staff to work remotely in the event that we have to close the building. Phone lines will be diverted and staff will continue to have access to their emails.
We believe that by taking the above steps we can ensure that both public health is protected and that we can continue to deal with client matters as efficiently as possible in the circumstances.
We thank you for your understanding.
